Breakfast in Heidelberg for American Journalists Menu
Front and back sides of a menu (in German) for a breakfast given by the city of Heidelberg to honor American journalists, with a scene of the Heidelberg Castle and foliage framed within a heart, the edges of which are scalloped and adorned with rose leaves, buds, and a bloom, hand-colored in green and red. The image is framed in a blind-stamped square on cream-colored textured stock. The handwritten inscription beneath reads: "Im Liebe" ("In Love") and possibly the artist's name (illegible). |
