An outdoor concert for Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and his staff at CinCPac/CinCPOA Advanced Headquarters on Guam. Admiral Nimitz is 3rd from the right in the second row. Robert Doyle is 2nd from the right in the third row, behind the trombone slide. The conductor is standing on the left and the band is on the right. Most of the staff are wearing uniforms, but several are wearing bathing suits. Many members of the audience are holding beverages in cans. A black dog is sitting in the first row. In the background is a tent and palm trees.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Robert Doyle was a civilian war correspondent for the Milwaukee Journal during World War II, covering the experiences of Wisconsin troops in the 32nd "Red Arrow" Division, an infantry division of the United States Army National Guard. The "Red Arrow" Division consisted mainly of soldiers from Wisconsin and Michigan.
