Robert Doyle on the German Border
Robert Doyle stands with one foot resting on a railroad track on the border between Germany and Belgium. A sign on the right reads "Entering Germany." Behind the sign are a few buildings and trees. A road runs along the railroad tracks on the left. This image was taken on a trip between Spa, Belgium, and Aachen, Germany. Doyle notes that it was a "miserable day, cold and misty and 'socked in'." He is wearing a long coat, boots and helmet. |
