| A roadside stop in Normandy, France. Three men are standing with a jeep. From left is Robert Doyle, war correspondent for the Milwaukee Journal. The other men are Eric Baume, Australian correspondent and London Bureau Chief for Truth Newspapers, and Edward Chichester, the 6th Marquess of Donegall, ace reporter for the London Sunday Dispatch. A helmet is attached to the grill of the jeep with the name, "T.S. Rat" stenciled on it. Trees and shrubs are on the side of the road. |

| Robert Doyle was a civilian war correspondent for the Milwaukee Journal during World War II, covering the experiences of Wisconsin troops in the 32nd "Red Arrow" Division, an infantry division of the United States Army National Guard. The "Red Arrow" Division consisted mainly of soldiers from Wisconsin and Michigan. |
