GOP Elephant Naming Contest

Mrs. Charles Carthright of Oregon was named the winner of "Parade Magazine's" election year contest to name the Republican elephant. Her winning entry was "Dauntless." Someone else named the Democratic donkey "Spunky." Mrs. Garthright is photographed at her job as manager of Mangel's Feminine Apparel, 25 S. Pinckney Street. The Cartrights will travel to the Riviera as their prize. |
