Individual Lessons
Have you ever wondered what it was like to drive a carriage? In this entertaining and educational clinic, participants, along with their equine partners and horse-drawn vehicles, will be taught carriage driving skills by expert trainer Nicole Cable. A lover of horses since she was small, Cable has become one of the most revered and sought after trainers of carriage horses in the country. She will conduct 45-minute individual lessons on your choice of topic, such as harnessing, rein and whip handling or training a green horse. Clinic participants will also be able to tour the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum. Must be 13+ to participate.

Lesson Times: 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
Your ticket purchase time is your start time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to this time.
COST FOR INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
$100 per person
Advanced registration is recommended. Guests must be 13+ to attend.

About the Instructor
Cable owns and operates Silver Shoe Farm in Batavia, New York. She is a judge, equestrian trainer, and clinician. Additionally, she holds licenses with both the American Driving Society and the United States Equestrian Federation. She has served as the chair of the USEF carriage pleasure driving committee and on the board of directors of the ADS. Cable has organized and hosted a pleasure driving show at her farm for over 10 years. She also travels through the United States and internationally, conducting clinics and officiating at driving events.
Cable has trained many different equestrian breeds and produced numerous champions in carriage driving. Her show success has yielded several Devon Horse Show pony championships with various ponies; she has been awarded the Best Ladies Turnout at Walnut Hill Farm Driving Competition along with championships in singles, tandem, and unicorn classes. She has also produced the Hackney Carriage Driving Horse of the Year.

- Check in at Wade House’s Horse Arena.
- The museum store is open daily during business hours.
- Guests may exit and return throughout the day.
- Water is the only outside food/beverage allowed. Food/beverage are available for purchase.
- Restrooms and water fountains are available on site.
- The site will remain open rain or shine.
- Guests are encouraged to wear good walking shoes and to dress for the weather.
- No pets are allowed. Service animals are permitted.
- Because of the historic nature of the buildings, not all areas are ADA accessible.

Learning Audit

Learning audit participants will also be able to tour Wade House’s Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum. Must be 13 + to participate.
