This event has been CANCELED!
A tintype portrait using the same wet plate photographic process employed by H.H. Bennett in his studio 150 years ago is a throwback to another time, when true artists meticulously composed and crafted images, and the results will outshine your cell phone selfie. Here’s a chance to learn about this fascinating photographic process while the authentic, historic lens captures a truly one-of-a-kind image of you that will last a lifetime.
Please note, because of the necessary long exposure times of the 19th-century style camera and the unique nature of each sitting, each portrait (one image) takes an average of 20 to 30 minutes. Each Studio Experience session is booked for one hour, so we can offer up to two portraits in one session. Learn more about tintypes and the Studio Experience.
