Pull up a seat in our charming and historic Clausing Barn Cafe for the kind of Friday night fish fry that makes Wisconsin famous. Bring friends and family along and enjoy hand-battered fried cod, baked and roasted potatoes, pasties, rye bread, slaw and—of course—tartar sauce! Pair your meal of choice with two types of Old Fashioneds: sip and savor a signature Wisconsin-style cocktail and finish your evening with a delicious slice of Brandy Old Fashioned cheesecake, Grasshopper brownies or Pink Squirrel truffle. Enjoy live music throughout your meal—and don’t forget to pick up some iconic Fish Fry and Old Fashioned merch before the night is over!

Know Before You Go
Fish Fry at Clausing Barn will have slots for guests at 5 PM, 6 PM and 7 PM. Register now to reserve your slot in advance.
Guests will choose from one of two meals: a 2-piece battered & fried cod meal with choice of roasted Yukon gold potatoes or baked potato, and a pasty meal with roasted potatoes. Both come with sides of rye bread, coleslaw and tartar sauce.
Signature Old Fashioneds and other beverages will be available for additional purchase.
Brandy Old Fashioned cheesecake and other desserts will be available for additional purchase.
The Clausing Barn is located within Old World Wisconsin in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The larger site features gravel roads, rough and hilly terrain. Our staff recommends dressing in layers and choosing sturdy footwear for your walk from the parking lot to the barn.
Onsite vehicle parking is available for FREE at Old World Wisconsin. The parking lot can accommodate large vehicles, RVs, and buses.
Modern restrooms, changing rooms, and water fountains are available on site.
No pets are allowed.
