Feel the warmth of mid-century charm as you reflect on holiday memories. Sink into a vintage couch in our pop-up display for a perfect holiday photo, then get up close with a classic Evergleam tree—a radiant reminder of Wisconsin’s winter heritage. Before you go, browse the History Maker Space Gift Shop for unique finds that make perfect gifts. This is more than a holiday display; it's an experience that brings the magic of mid-century Wisconsin to life.
On the select dates of Saturday, December 6 and Saturday, December 13 (1 – 4 PM), the History Maker Space will also be hosting Make it Merry: A Family & Friends Crafting Event, a hands-on crafting program for all ages and skill levels. This is one pop-up to not miss—so we hope to see you at Evergleam Dreams!

Know Before You Go
The History Maker Space is located on the 1st floor and off the main lobby of the U.S. Bank Plaza building.
The History Maker Space is open to the public Tuesdays - Fridays.
The Evergleam Dreams: A Vintage Holiday Display has two parts, one section that is located within the History Maker Space (HMS) Gift Shop and a second section that is located in a different retail space across from the History Maker Space Gift Shop.
During the weekdays from 10 am – 5 pm, access to the lobby is available through street entrances along South Pinckney Street, East Washington Avenue, or South Webster Street.
During weekdays, visitor parking is available onsite at U.S. Bank Plaza. For more information, go to https://www.uli.com/news/parking-in-downtown-madison for hourly rates. If parking onsite at U. S. Bank Plaza, entry to the lobby space and therefore the History Maker Space will be through the building’s elevators.
The History Maker Space, and therefore the display will be closed on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving), Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve), and Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day).
On Saturday, December 6 and Saturday, December 13, parking will not be available onsite at the U.S. Bank Plaza. For the locations and rates for street parking and public parking meters, go to the Street Parking page on the City of Madison website.
In addition to parking meters there is also a public parking garage, Capitol Square North Garage, located at 218 E. Mifflin Street, and approximately two blocks north of the U.S. Bank Plaza building.
If visiting on Saturday, December 6 or Saturday, December 13, please enter the building through the 1 S. Pinckney Street entrance.
