born Racine, Mar. 23, 1897. Educated in Racine elementary and high schools. Veteran of World War I; served in Army. Assembly-man from Racine County 1951 and 1953. First chosen Chief Clerk of the Senate in 1935. Unanimously re-elected in each succeeding session through 1945, and again in each session from 1955 to 1965. Deceased Mar. 2, 1965. Mailing address was 4801 Kinzie Ave., Racine. (Blue Book 1966)
