editor, politician, b. Milwaukee. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy and Spencerian Business College, and attended the Univ. of Wisconsin branch at Milwaukee. She taught for several years in South Milwaukee and at Winona, Minn., and in 1908 became assistant manager and bookkeeper of the newspaper, Nowiny Polskie, a Polish-language daily. She held this position until 1922, and from 1924 to 1939 was managing editor of the weekly Glos Polek. A Democrat, Mrs. Kryszak was state assembly-woman (1929-1930, 1933-1938, and 1941-1945). Wis.
