Attorney. Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict; served in Navy. Member Wis. District Attorneys Assn., Natl. Assn. of Prosecuting Attorneys, Brown Co. Assn. for Retarded Children, Elks. In 1958 elected Brown County District Attorney; was asst. D.A. 1957-58 and claims adjuster 1953-56. Elected to Assembly in 1960. Member of Assembly Education Committee and Judiciary Com.; Legis.
