Mini-Grant Funding Available for Wisconsin Historical Society Affiliates
Do you have a project that needs funding support? Each spring, affiliates can apply for grants up to $700 for projects and activities that support collections care and management.
Guidelines and applications for the 2024 grant season will be available in early 2024 and must be postmarked by May 15, 2024.

2023 Grant Application Guidelines
The Wisconsin Historical Society and Wisconsin Council for Local History are pleased to announce that 18 affiliated local historical societies received a total of $10,320 through the 2023 mini-grant program.
Recipients of the 2023 mini-grant were: Brown County Historical Society, Douglas County Historical Society, Elcho Historical Society, Fairchild Area Historical Society, Friends of Hearthstone, Friends of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums, Historic Indian Agency House, La Crosse County Historical Society, Langlade County Historical Society, Onalaska Area Historical Society, Pepin County Historical Society, Peshtigo Historical Society, Stoughton Historical Society, Sun Prairie Historical Library & Museum, Tomahawk Area Historical Society, Washington County Historical Society, Wauwatosa Historical Society, and Wisconsin Black Historical Society.
