Chapter 10 presents an "up close and personal" view of some of the changes that took place in Wisconsin between 1900 and 1950.

Students will learn how these changes, such as inventions and advances in technology, affected the way people lived. Other changes related to major events, such as the Great Depression or World War II, had even greater effects.
