Tourism Cares - Worldwide Grant Program
Tourism Cares
Tourism Cares awards grants to nonprofit organizations for conservation, preservation, restoration, or education at tourism-related sites of cultural, historic, or natural significance.
Grant recipients must be classified tax-excempt 501(c)(3). Typical grants are $10,000, must be used within 12 months of grant agreement and can be used for capital improvements or educational programs. All grant recipients must submit a report at the end of the grant term documenting the use and outcome of the Tourism Cares investment.
Past recipients include: Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, Baltimore, MD; Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, Collinsville, IL; Molly Brown House Museum, Denver, CO; Frank Lloyd Wright’s Frederick C. Robie House, Chicago, IL; and Maritime Center at Historic Coast Guard Station, St. Simons Island, GA.
