Dane Arts Grants
Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission
Dane Arts grant program supports equitable access to arts, culture, and local history activites in Dane County, which allow opportunies for creative expression, engagement, and connection with one another.
All grants supported by Dane Arts must culminate in tangible activities presented to the Dane County community that directly benefit its citizens and resients, be conducted in Dane County, WI, and allow universal public access to the project or program.
Dane Arts rarely provides primary financial support. Rather, grants are designed to help leverage additional funds from other sources and foster applicants' success in securing diverse funding.
There are three grant categories.
- Project Grants or Short-Order Project Grants are designed to support specific projects or programs that have a distinct budget, personnel, and timeframe spanning a relativley short duration.
- Capital Grants are designed to support capital projects, such as equipment purchases, permanent exhibits, building construction, improvements and expansions or historic preservation initiatives.
- Other Special Grants are occasional unique grant opportunities that may be offered for one or several grant cycles.
