Meeting the Standards with NHD
National History Day has been designed to help teachers and schools meet educational standards. The NHD program and the nature of historical research bring together language arts skills (reading, writing, and communication) with specific methods of historical inquiry.
Students who successfully complete National History Day projects will likely address many common core standards.
