Accent on Architecture Grants Program | Funding Historic Preservation | Wisconsin Historical Society

The American Architectural Foundation's Accent on Architecture Grants Program helps local nonprofit design and civic organizations produce innovative public education programming.

The program is open to AIA components. Their affiliated 501(c)(3) organizations are also eligible to apply. Proposed projects must be specifically aimed at increasing awareness, appreciation, and understanding of architecture and design among K–12 students.

In past years, successful grant recipients have enlisted design professionals, educators, community leaders, government officials, business leaders, and others to enrich the public's understanding and appreciation of architecture and design. In addition to enhancing the visibility and public understanding of architecture, this program aims to strengthen long-term relationships between communities and local design groups.
