History Maker Space Field Trips
The History Maker Space is our temporary space on the Capitol Square where we host PK-12 education programs, pop-up exhibits, author talks, public programs and history center sneak peeks during the construction of the new building.
Programs are designed for students in grades K-12. We recommend a 1:10 adult to student ratio.
- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- 50 people max for each program
- Field trips available year-round
Field trip groups may also schedule time at the History Maker Space store before or after their visit!

History: In The Making
Investigate primary sources and share your Wisconsin story at the new History Maker Space! This hands-on, inquiry-based program invites learners to explore and analyze images, objects, and more, culminating in a showcase of their ideas in a student-curated exhibit.
Registration Fees:
- $5 per program per student
- $4 per program per student at economically disadvantaged schools
- $0 per teacher or school staff
- $5 per chaperone
- $4 per chaperone at economically disadvantaged schools
