58th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair at Wade House

Greenbush, Wis. – Join over 75 of Wisconsin’s best artisans and craftspeople as they display and sell their wares at the 58th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair at Wade House.

“Wade House’s Annual Arts and Crafts fair is one of the oldest fairs in eastern Wisconsin,” said David Warnersite director at Wade House. “There’s something for everyone at this event; from arts and crafts to stagecoach rides and a wide array of culinary delights. All of our guests will enjoy this special event.”

The exhibitors employ a variety of mediums including creative metal art, painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry, fiber art, glass, wood, leather, and photography. Brats, burgers, gourmet fries and lemonade shakeups will be available.

The Arts and Crafts Fair will take place at Wade House Historic Site in Greenbush, WI on Sunday, August 26, from 9 AM to 4 PM.  Special event admission of $6.00 per adult includes entrance to the Fair and entire site.  Children ages 17 and under are FREE.  Admission includes a horse-drawn vehicle ride from the historic area to the new Wade House Visitor Center and Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, a tour of the stately, 27-room stagecoach hotel, a trip to the Herrling Sawmill to see and feel the rumble of an up-and-down, water-powered saw, a journey to the blacksmith’s shop as well as entrance to the Arts and Crafts Fair.  Rides on a reproduction stagecoach will also be offered for an additional fee. Proceeds from this event help support the educational and historical programming at the site.
