For Immediate Release Contact: Kara O’Keeffe Experience Flavorful Events this Summer at the Wisconsin Historical Museum Madison, Wis. – This summer, join the Wisconsin Historical Museum in celebration of the flavors that connect us to our diverse heritage in the most delicious ways with the NEW exhibit, “The Flavor of Wisconsin.” “This summer we are excited to unveil this new exhibit at the museum in conjunction with programming and events across the state,” said Michael Hollander, site director at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. “The museum will be offering events and programming throughout the summer that explore the history of food and eating in the Badger state.” The opening of the “Flavor of Wisconsin Exhibit” will take place on Tuesday, June 26 from 5-7pm at the Wisconsin Historical Museum on the Capitol Square. Through family craft activities, objects, and marvelous images from the collections of the Wisconsin Historical Society, guests will discover how the foods we produce make us who we are all while enjoying food and drink provided by Wisconsin producers. Participating vendors include Klarbrunn, Lake Louie Brewing, Metcalfe’s Market, Old Sugar Distillery, and more! With exhibitions, demonstrations, tours, and tastes around the state, The Flavor of Wisconsin brings to life history and living traditions. All Wisconsin Historical Society members receive free admission throughout the season to all the twelve historic sites and museums across the state.
