Lake Geneva, Wis. – Discover a different view of downtown Lake Geneva and historic Maple Park on the 2018 Black Point Estate and Gardens Legends and Landmarks Series: A Walking Tour of Lake Geneva. “Lake Geneva is a city rich in cultural and architectural history,” said David Desimone, site director of Black Point Estate and Gardens. “This tour will expand on that history to also include many of the colorful personalities and events that bring the city’s cultural heritage to light.” On the tour, guests will learn which buildings were designed by famous architects, which have a colorful past and which significant structures were lost to neglect or the wrecking ball. Along the way, participants will hear stories about famous individuals such as Sidney Smith, Frank Lloyd Wright, William Le Baron Jenny, and many more! Date: June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, Aug. 2, Aug. 16, Sept. 6 Time: 6:30pm Location: Tour departs from the Rivera Building (812 Wrigley Drive in downtown Lake Geneva) The ninety minute guided tour will cover roughly 1.5 miles. The cost is $8.00 per person. Registration in advance is recommended and is on a first come, first serve basis.
