The Racine Raiders are a volunteer-run team, founded in 1953. The team was the first minor league football team in history to gain non-profit status from the IRS. The Raiders have won seven National Championships (1981, 1983, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1995, 2001) and been runner-up four times.The team has 26 players, coaches or staff in the American Football Association (AFA) Hall of Fame, more than any other minor league team in the world.The team calls Historic Horlick Athletic Field home
