(Rep.), born Wausau Aug. 24, 1888. Educated public and parochial schools; commercial business course. Apprenticed and employed 8 years as decorator and wood finisher; when 28 started own decorating, wood finishing, paint, wallpaper business. Honorary member VFW. Was pres. city council, chm. city tax equal. board and county board; served on county highways and traffic corns., health and park boards. Elected to Assembly 1942; now in 10th term. Chair-man Assembly Municipalities Com. 1961 and 6 prior sessions. Member State Building Comn. 1961 and 1957-59. Member Assembly Excise and Fees Com.; Legis. Council Physical Plant Maintenance Com.
