Lotz, Oscar 1880 - 1953 | Wisconsin Historical Society
physician, b. Milwaukee. He received his M.D. from the Univ. of Pennsylvania (1905), and began practicing in Milwaukee (1907). He was a member of the Wisconsin state board of medical examiners (1918-1924), and a member of the state board of nursing education (1925-1933). From 1939 to 1952 he was director of the Wisconsin Anti-Tuberculosis Association, and served as president of the Mississippi Valley Conference on Tuberculosis (1948-1949). While association director he helped establish traveling X-ray clinics, a rehabilitation counseling service in Wisconsin sanitariums, and a health-education consultation service for schools.
