This collection, totaling 92 pages, contains the unpublished final reports of the organizing committees of the Wisconsin Centennial Exposition of 1948, held on the state fair grounds. It includes typed reports, photographs (including views of the 1948 centennial mural), lists of exhibited items, newspaper and magazine articles, and a description of the first Alice in Dairyland contest. This material was selected from the papers of Merle C. Palmer, secretary of the 1948 Wisconsin State Centennial Committee.
