Additional Comments
2017 WisDOT survey - The property is located on the south side of Main Streets in an east-side residential neighborhood in the city of Menomonie. The two-story brick Italianate-style house has a rectilinear footprint, expanded by a one-story addition on the west elevation. The hipped roof of the house is sheathed in metal and pierced by a brick chimney stack near the peak of the north slope. The front door is accessed through a one-story front-gable enclosed porch on the façade. The porch walls are clad in clapboard siding and lit by one-over-one windows. Windows on the main body of the house are two-over-two wood sashes, set into arched openings. The addition has a flat roof, its exterior is clad in aluminum siding, and a horizontal-sliding window is centered on the north elevation. Southwest of the house is a one-story front-gable detached garage.

2017 community survey: Assessor cites a 1900 date of construction. Appearance (specifically the windows), however, suggests an earlier date-perhaps 1880s. Is on the 1894 Sanborn map but the area is not depicted as of the earlier 1889 Map.
