Property Features
This two-story, rectangular plan, side gable house was constructed in 1893. It is clad in brick and rests on a brick foundation. The gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles and has an exterior brick chimney on the side (east) elevation. A modern replacement porch with a brick foundation and a hip roof wraps around the along the north (front) and west (side) elevations. The porch is supported by turned posts with spindled valences and balustrade and shelters the main entrance in the center of the front façade, accessed via brick steps; an ADA-compliant ramp extends from the west side of the porch. Two gable wall dormers and a one-story polygonal bay window are also located on the front (north) facade. A one-story frame wing at the rear (east) is clad in vinyl siding. Window openings on the main block have slightly peaked headers and contain one-over-one, double-hung wood sash in paired and single configurations with simple wood surrounds; a large picture window is found on the west side of the front facade.
