Additional Comments
This two-story Queen Anne house was constructed in 1905. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation, vinyl siding, and asphalt-shingled gable roofs that feature cornice boards ornamented with shallow dentil detailing and diminutive brackets. The building consists of a central side-gabled mass from which project front-gabled masses to the north and south. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in composition with a central front-gabled mass containing pairs of one-over-one windows at the first and second stories; the wall under the gable is clad in bands of decoratively patterned wood shingles with a polygonal ventilation panel at the center. A two-story tower with a shallow hipped roof is located in the front ell created by the front- and side-gabled masses. The front entrance is located in the north face of this tower and is sheltered under a small, hipped-roof entry porch with turned wood posts and decorative cornice board. The east elevation of the house features a two-story polygonal bay window with decorative cornice detailing and a gable end featuring an octagonal attic window and patterned wood shingles.
