Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.

Don Bonack's parents, Gilbert and Arlene, purchased this farm in 1955.

This barn was used by Walter Koepsell in the past.

The Lousbergs purchased their property in 1979. The barn is owned by Dan Nickel.
Hechimovich Barn — Alternate View

The last time cows were milked here, on the Hechimovich farm, was in 1958.
Nickel Barn — Alternate View

This barn on the Nickel farm was built in 1919 by Ed Radke. The Nickels are still milking 50 cows.

David Huettner and wife, Karen, milked the last cows in 1998.
