View from intersection towards a taxi and several other automobiles parked in front of the Brumder Building. Flags and flag-inspired bunting decorate the facades and lampposts. A sign over the main entrance reads: "Welcome A.A.C. of W. [Associated Advertising Clubs of the World] Milwaukee Herold and German National Farm Weeklies." Front windows to the left of the entry have signs identifying the National Bank of Commerce; those on the right have signs for the Milwaukee Herold and German National Farm Weeklies. A stairway on the left at the corner leads to a barbershop and bathhouse below street level.
