Town house: wide frieze board with denticulated corbeling, flat arch lintel. It is connected to 315 DeWitt at the rear. The property at 108 E. conant replaced an earlier frame dwelling. It was erected during P. donant's ownership in 1903. He continued to own the dwelling until 1911 when George Baker purchased the property. In 1912, Baker sold the building to A.A. Porter who owned theproperty through 1930. The building is identified as a dwelling in 1910 (Sanborn-Perris Map Co. 1910). But, by 1910, Conant rented the dwelling to Jake Stegman, a laborer, Jake Stegman, Jr., a druggist, and Pete Stagman, a laborer. The family remained through 1917. By 1929, the Singer Sewing Machine company leased part of the dwelling, and the directory listed a single renting family, Olaf G. Onsgard. The building remained an apartment in 1955.
