2017 WisDOT survey - The property is located on the northwest corner of Main and 12th Streets in an east-side residential neighborhood in the city of Menomonie. The one-story cube house has a rectilinear footprint, resting on a rock-faced concrete block foundation. The hipped roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles and features a small cross gable on the east slope. The exterior walls are clad in coursed wood shingles. The building is expanded by a one-story half-hipped porch on the southeast corner. The porch is enclosed and is lit by broad arched openings that have subsequently been infilled with screens to extend the use of the porch. The front door is centered on the façade of the porch. Windows are one-over-one wood units, placed in regular intervals.

2017 Community survey: Assessor's records cite a 1930 date of construction; however, house is depicted on the 1925 Sanborn map. The address is also listed in the 1919 telephone directory (with Rev. Frank Bell listed as the resident). No earlier directories are available.
