Property Features
This two-and-one-half-story square plan residence was constructed in 1900. The walls are clad in narrow-width clapboard and rest on a stucco-covered foundation. The truncated hip roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features a central brick chimney and large off-center cross gables on each of the four elevations. Gable ends feature decorative wood shingles, and a slightly flared fish-scale shingled belt course separates the upper and lower stories. A hip roof porch spans the front (north) façade, sheltering cutaway corners at the east and west sides of the façade. Resting on a rusticated concrete block foundation, the porch features tapered wood posts with brick plinths, balustrade, and stoops, and a small cross gable above the main entrance. Windows consist of one-over-one vinyl replacement sash in single and paired configurations with dentilled headers, and picture windows flank the main entrance. A modern deck addition extends on the rear (south) elevation.
