Robert Hulburt, age 11 and a student at Hillcrest School, District No. 6, Towns of Waukesha, Pewaukee, Brookield and New Berlin, poses with his heifer in a pasture. There is a small building in the background. On the reverse, the photograph is titled "Two prize farm animals" and explained: "Robert was the youngest ever to win in the open competition at the cattle show of the Wis. state fair. He was $10 richer because he entered his calf against experienced showmen. He got 7th place in a class where the competition was stiff."
