Roger Baird, 11 years old and a student at Hillcrest School, District No., Towns of Waukesha, Pewaukee, Brookfield and New Berlin, posing with his calf. On the reverse of the photograph is written: "This calf won second in the County Holstein roundup and third at the Dairy Show. Roger's record book of his 4-H Club work was sent to Madison by county agricultural agent because of merits."
