Stereograph of the Fairchild Residence, 302 Monona Avenue, at the intersection of Wilson Street. It was built around 1850 by Jarius C. Fairchild, Madison's first mayor. It later served as the home of his son, General Lucius Fairchild, who was governor of Wisconsin from 1866-1872.
