Western Hotel

Western Hotel. The original tavern was built in 1834 (?) by William Shields (?). In 1845 it was operated by his son Simon Shields. In 1873 the Hotel was taken over by Joseph Dreyfuss and was subsequently known as Hotel Dreyfuss. In 1913 the hotel was operated by Julius Dreyfuss, son of Joseph Dreyfuss.
