Sixth plate ambrotype of R.W. Wells, a druggist and civic leader in Waupun, Wisconsin. He was elected as trustee of Waupun in 1865. He faces forward with torso turned slightly right, and is wearing a suit with patterned vest and wide tie, and has a mustache and beard. Hand-coloring on cheeks.
