Explosion Kills Couple

Explosion and fire in the 200 block of North Bassett Street caused the deaths of William and Gladys McGrath and destruction of five buildings. Firemen are seen training a hose on a porch in an attempt to confine the fire, which was caused by gas explosions, and a ladder is leaning against the house frame.
