Hotels of Wisconsin: Some of the famous hostelries of the past and present
Toward the close of the nineteenth century, tourism became a growing industry in Wisconsin. Cities and lakes became vacation destinations, and hotels rose up to meet the demand. This article looks at the development of hotels throughout the state and the creation of two hotel associations.
