Dairy jubilee men who started Wisconsin to leadership as dairy state (1922)


William Dempster Hoard (1836-1918) and a handful of other visionaries met in Watertown in 1872 to plan a campaign to expand Wisconsin's dairy industry. Their pictures are given here from a 1922 newspaper story celebrating the 50th anniversary of that meeting.
