Wisconsin Jews are asked to support settlements in Palestine, ca. 1941
Have a Share in Nachlath Wisconsin
This tri-fold brochure solicits financial support for a settlement in Palestine called "Nachlath Wisconsin" (Wisconsin Colony), "which will serve as a haven for refugee families." The effort was jointly promoted by the Jewish National Fund in New York and the Wisconsin Council of the Jewish National Fund in Milwaukee, with a target of $50,000 to purchase a site. The brochure includes an illustration of an idealized settlement in Palestine.
