Adda F. Howie Reminiscence


Adda F. Howie was an agricultural leader in cattle breeding and dairying in Wisconsin. A frequent lecturer at the Farmers' Institutes at the University of Wisconsin, Howie became the first woman appointed to the State Board of Agriculture. In this reminiscence, she recalls her farm and dairy near Brookfield.
