Tribal Cooking: Traditional Stories and Favorite Recipes

The Minwanjigewin Nutrition Project is a community-based nutrition education project designed to increase knowledge of healthful eating among Wisconsin tribes. The Community Nutrition Assistants put together this cookbook, which contains original recipes contributed by various tribal members that help to preserve traditions through food. Excerpts from the book, generously provided by the GLITC, Inc, Family Nutrition Project, are provided here. The complete cookbook is available for purchase on the GLITC web site.
