Images of the attack on Pearl Harbor

Alan North Williams (1912-2001) served as a photographer's mate in the U.S. Navy during World War Two. In that capacity, and in official work for the Public Relations Bureau of the Headquarters of the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and Pacific Ocean Areas (CINCPAC), he took and collected hundreds of wartime photographs, including portraits of military personnel and civilians and scenes of land, air, and water battles and their aftermath. The link below opens his pictures of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.
