Household Fats and Grease
Efforts to change consumer habits to meet wartime needs were geared primarily toward women. State and county consumer committees organized informational lectures and classes on rationing and salvaging. In these pages, women are taught how saving fat, grease, hosiery, and tin cans helps with the nation's defense.
