Kenosha men and women recall the Great Depression

Reminiscences of Depression Days.

This self-published booklet contains 14 recollections of daily life during the Great Depression by Kenosha senior citizens. These reminiscences were prepared for an adult education class at the local senior center, and because they are the voices of everyday men and women instead of professional writers, they have an immediacy, charm, and authenticity not always found in more polished prose or more formally published books.
