2000- "This frame, two-story Queen Anne house displays multiple steep gabled forms and a one-story octagonal turret with a conical roof. It is further characterized by a three-sided bay window, recessed arch in the front gable end, and a gabled dormer with an arched window opening. This house has been altered by the addition of modern siding to its exterior and by the addition of metal windows. The closing of the front porch has further altered the historic character of this house. This house was constructed on the farmstead of John Weldy in the 1890s. The Weldy farmstead served the 80-acre farm in Section 35 of Eagle Township established by the Weldy family at least by 1870s. The barn on the property was demolished after it was damaged by fire. The farm was reduced to 50 acres when it was sold to John Me Vay in the mid-1930s. Presently the property is comprised of the farmhouse and one acre (Foote, 1874, 1895; Brooks, Interview, 1993; Globe Map Company, 1936)."
