Historically known as the Mann's Block or Mann's Opera Hall, this building was constructed by Curtis Mann. The building originally housed two drug stores and a grocery store on the first level, offices on the second level with an opera house (Mann's Opera House) and Masonic Hall on the third floor. The Masonic Hall moved out of the building in 1891 and the opera house continued until at least 1895. From 1895 until 1909 the structure served as a Pythian Hall. A variety of other businesses including a barber (1909-1925), real estate business (1925), a tavern (1935), and jewelry and clothing shops (1953) have occupied the building over the years.
